Events for September, 2024

Stitch Social. Come join us for a little informal stitching and socializing.  The stitch doctor will be in (if you're needing a little help).  As always, bring your current project (knit, crochet, needlepoint or really anything else) to work on and your beverage of choice.  No reservation required.

Tuesdays, September 3, 10, and 17 @ 5:30 - 7:30. 

Beginning Crochet.  Learn to crochet.  This class includes two sessions.  In the first session, learn the basic stitches of crochet, including chain, single crochet and double crochet, while making a washcloth/sampler.  In the second session, put those basic stitches to work and learn the techniques necessary to make the ever popular "granny square".   Class Fee $50.00.  Materials to be purchased separately at Needle Arts.

Tuesdays, September 24 and October 8 @ 5:30-7:30 pm. 

Beginning Knitting.   Pick one of three projects -- a scarf, a cowl or a hat -- and master the knit stitch, the foundation upon which all knitting rests.  This class meets twice to make sure you master that knit stitch and can move forward with confidence.  Class Fee $50.00.  Materials to be purchased separately at Needle Arts.

Sundays, September 15 and 29 @ 10:00 am - noon.

Mia Summer Tee.    This class features a top-down/raglan tee suitable for both adventurous beginners and more experienced knitters as well. Class Fee $50.00.  Materials to be purchased separately at Needle Arts.  Sign up early while color selection is wide open.

Wednesdays, October 23 and 30, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
